An original concept photo shoot for singer, composer Maalavika Manoj's debut album Deceptive.
Inspired by music pop culture and an OCD aerial perspective of a garden in macro wonderland.
The set was created from twigs and leaves, branches and other organic tree materials picked up by hand from around the city of Madras and put together on a lawn. Individual leaves were stuck to branches to give a sense of realism. A black cloth was used to give a night sky effect. The wings were created from cloth material and give the full effect of a half moth/half butterfly creature with a sense of humor.
